Henry Darger, oh Henry Darger!
How delighted I was to stumble on this incredible artist via the candy pages of Lula.

His story tangled my mind with it's twists and turns. It is like a bittersweet cupcake baked with confusion, amazement, mystery and fucking beautiful drawings.

If you have a moment, read his wiki entry it's fascinating. He endlessly inspires me. I'm still hoping for one of his books.

It's dark, it's innocent, it's sweet. Truly a romantic story of a reclusive man. He endlessly inspires me.

So the other night my favourite model in the world came into my work. Pania Rose. She was so sweet and cute! I had to restrain from gushing about her editorials.

About 5/6 years ago my walls were plastered with her images.

Her outfit was wicked sticks. NY cool.

I love girls with fringes. It evokes such a mysterious air. What is she hiding under the sweeping hair. Grazing over giraffe length ebony lashes. There's nothing like seeing a cute girl peer at you with her clear eyes from under a set of 60's bangs.

I've been obsessed with having a straight fringe for a few years now. Forever lusting after the seemingly low maintenance tresses of Miss Jane Birkin. I love this photograph. It's almost as if she's mesmerised by her own beauty.

Of course there are plenty of modern day sweeties dwelling on the fringes of fashion. My favourite lady Zooey Deschanel and model Irina.
